In light of the uncertainty arising from the imprecision in the language of the injunction order in the Organic Blooms case, on Friday December 20, 2024, the New York Attorney General, on behalf of the New York Office of Cannabis Management, has requested clarification with respect to various subsets of retail licenses and applications, including whether OCM may process:
- Applicants whose Notice to Municipality was filed less than 30 days prior to their application.
- Location Change Amendments, Co-Located Dispensaries, and Lost Location Applications.
- Public Convenience and Advantage Requests.
- Applicants with Proximity Protection and Holding Property.
